how much important apocalyptica is for all of us...

Hi. I just wanted to say what this band represents for me and what I think a million of other fans think too. When I started to listen to this music, my life was changed. I rediscovered music! Something so good to my ears that I put their songs on repeat all the time. I could listen to it all day long and I would never be tired. When I'm sad or feeling depressed or even when I'm happy, I find a song that fits to my mood and I listen to it. I can say that when I'm sad (my boyfriend left me some times ago) this music helps me remember the beauty of life. It shows me that there's still hope cause what you can do with four cellos is awesome, there are som many possibilities. Just listen to their songs and you'll know that what I'm saying there is right! So seeing what they can do in music shows me that I can do wonderful things with my life and I swear it makes me feel a lot better.I almost killed myself... I was just crying all the time, I was not feeling good at all. Something in me was wrong. Then I listened to their songs and I couldn't stop being impressed by their skills! Makes me feel a lot better you know XD. Sometimes I wish I could play cello as good as them but it's impossible! They are the best ones ah h« ^^. I know that you all agree with me when I say that they are very good musicians! Of course they are! Thanks to apocalyptica for showing me that there's still a good side in life :).

Agreed. Apo reminds me there's beauty and that two unlikely things can come together. (Pearl-wearers and heavy metal! Heavy metal and cellos! Cellos and sexy men!) Apo is going to be my first concert and I can't even say how much seeing you guys means to me. :D

<3 I'm glad you found Apo and found happiness, Ninick.

Yeah.. it just pure awesomeness to be on Apo gig or just listening to their music. I rememeber my first Apo gig... Of course I've heard of them before, 'cause I went to the gig, but I never believed it could mean that much. After gig I was confused, that what the hell just happened.. :D and @Vordai: exactly, those friends I've found from gigs means lot to me. :)

I can't forget first Apo gig. I was at the end of the queue with my friend. We waited 1,5 hours, I wanted to leave at last because queue was getting crowd. But we waited and waited. After 23 minutes I was talking with Perttu  A person could sign just one album but Eicca signed my all albums :) I love them! Paavo said me "Honey" ! It is the best day in my life!

Music has always formed the soundtrack of my life. No matter what stage of life I'm in, or my emotions, there's a song somewhere in the back of my mind that fits. Apo's music is what I love to write to or dream to, and even to dance to (yes, they can indeed be danced to). Sometimes what I feel with their music makes me so full of joy that I can't keep it to myself and I want to share this amazing band with friends and strangers alike. When I feel surrounded by negativity, Apo's a shot of positivity. They amaze me with their skill, and humble me with the beauty they create. They make me laugh at their antics and sigh at just how gorgeous they are--both inside and out. They're like an aural ear-gasm. Seeing them live was one of those moments that will forever remain indelible in my mind. For days afterwards I didn't know how to explain what I'd seen and kept re-living it in my mind. If a show doesn't leave me drenched in sweat afterwards from all the dancing and headbanging that I do, then it was just there. I left that Apo/Dir en Grey show nearly bone tired (in a very good way). Even in my darkest moments, listening to Apo is healing, reminds me that there's beauty and happiness to be found. Most importantly, Apo reminds me that anything is possible. Cellos and metal, who would have thought?

And to think, someone else's negative comment on a Metallica fan-site is what led me to this incredible group of musicians. I'd thank this person if I remembered who they were.

Concert on Sunday!!!

Reading your comments makes me feel even more excited: I will go to see them for the first time on Sunday.
I´ve never ever been to a rock concert as I used to be more into pop and classical music - and here I go to a cello heavy metal gig. Their music must have transformed me within just a few weeks ...

thevixenne and vordai: thanks for your welcome greetings. I have not yet understood how the forum works but I´ll try to do my best.

It's hard to describe how I feel listening to your music, but I think the best word is that it makes me feel alive day to day.

I have the feeling a lot of people here are feeling (or felt) suicidal O_O.

Well, I don't feel that extreme, but, listening to Apocalyptica helped me when I was like sad, or when I felt I was unable to do that much work I had to!

Their positive attitude (this includes also just being funny) you can see in some interviews are great too.
Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

I've not felt suicida,or there is no reason to feel like that for me.But Apocalyptica helped me to build a relationship with my sister.Because we were like enemies living in the same home. That's why Apocalyptica has a good place in my mind and also has a important place. And actually with reading their interviews etc. i discovered my language skills,at least i found that i'm skilled for something. So,though them,i'll study something which one i'm skilled and i'm happy. Also i started to search and look for the informations etc. through them and i can say that my knowledge about countries etc. improved itself. Just a negative stuff - sometimes I speak English with Finnish accent. 8|
They're changing people' habbits! I used to speak with Turkish accent, not with Finnish one! 8| Finnish is so great...but i think i got their accent too much. :pinch:

I have never felt suicidal, really I have no right to. But being 3rd chair violin in my orchestra, (middle school) I always thought that 3rd chair was the best I could do. However, one day after playing my friend's cello and falling in love with it, I was at home looking up cellos. Then, I found a picture of Apocalyptica's flaming cello and clicked on it. I saw the cool name so I clicked on the link, and next thing I new, I was mesmerized staring at my computer screen with this beautiful music playing. After that I really begun to understand the true beauty of music. So, a few weeks later, I took up 2nd chair, and although I was not able to get 1st because the school year ended, I am truly a changed person and music is my soul.

Thank you Apocalyptica! Perttu <3 Eicca, Paavo, Mikko. My heroes and role models.
