Canadian dates - Saskatoon, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton

I've been stalking the Apo website and ticketmaster since Perttu announced May dates on twitter the other day, and my stalking was rewarded! May dates are now up on http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Apocalyptica-tickets/artist/783820
Vancouver - May 22
Edmonton - May 24
Calgary - May 25
Saskatoon - May 27

I'm super-excited that they're coming to Calgary - though since I was already planning to go to the Vancouver show (since I didn't think they'd include a city of ONLY a million+ people in their line up.. haha *bitter*) so I think I might go anyways... either way, I'll be hitting the Calgary and Edmonton shows. :)

Presale tickets go on sale this Thursday (March 29) and regular sale tickets on Friday (March 30) according to the Ticketmaster site.

Hi,
I am new to the forum, but I saw Apocalyptica at the Metallica 30th anniversary shows on night 1 at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Dec 5th, 2011. I was one of many in the orange TMCC Fillmore 2011 Metallica collectors club shirts during the week. I was wondering if you plan to come to Winnipeg as it is one of the Canadian dates not mentioned. I'd love a full set from you guys as it was a HUGE highlight for me to see you as it was Metallica on DEC 5th. I'd even wear my TMCC shirt to your show to make myself known. PLEASE COME TO WINNIPEG!!!! :)

STOKED to see Apo in Van!! I FINALLY get to see them live (unless you count their online streaming concert). Funny, actually I know a guy from one of the bands that is opening (the front man, Kyle, from Incura). I went to music school with his sister. At one point, he had offered for me to come to Van and record with them, but I never got around to going because I was a poor music student and didn't have the cash to go. I'm kicking myself now - to think what could have happened. Maybe I'd have gotten to work on stage with Apo.. maybe not, hahaha.

To answer the question about Winnipeg, I think that if your city isn't listed on ticketmaster, then they aren't playing there. :(

I hadn't even heard of Incura until Axl posted the opening act on the Facebook event for the Calgary show... I listened to a few of their songs (via YouTube) and I'm not sure what I think....

Either way, I'm excited that I'll be attending the Vancouver, Edmonton, AND Calgary shows... and have convinced a few friends to join me for the Calgary one. Not enough friends willing to travel I'm afraid!

There is also an acoustic set + meet & greet on the May Victoria Day Monday - https://www.facebook.com/events/366530643404452/ ... am planning to hit that as well - my flight arrives at 10:30, so I'm crossing my fingers I can get there early enough to get a spot!

If anyone else is in #VYR - do you know how big Scrape Records is? (How many people will be able to get in?)

Wow, I hadn't heard of the free event. Stupid facebook doesn't let me know EVERYTHING! And I have class downtown at 7pm that night too. Wonder if I could make it to both.... With the concert being so late at night on tuesday and I have work for 7am the next day, I'm going to be sleeeeeeepy! I usually meet with the band after the show, but perhaps if I can get to the acoustic one, then I won't have to be up too late on tuesday. Hmmm...No idea how big scrape records is though.

Hiya RM! It's been way too long! I didn't see you today, did you make it to Scrape Records? It was an amazing set, I'm still buzzing from the whole thing. And it's too bad I didn't see this thread in time to make plans to meet Sadina Dawn. Always looking to meet fellow forumers! Maybe tomorrow at the show - I'll be easy to find, I'll be the dark haired woman beside the man with the bright red mohawk. That'll be my hubby - always easy to find in a crowd! Anyway, hope to see you guys there tomorrow night! Can't wait!
