@Ethereal : There have been an earthquake in the Ocean off their coast, so that Indonesia (and also India and other counrty around it) issued a tsunami alert. But it seems that it was okay after all, the waves were small. Just hoping there won't be any aftershocks.

jojo: Vinland saga, eh? I really need to read the Kalevala as soon as possible, so I'm hoping to find a copy of it somehow at the library or bookstore as soon as I have the time to read leisurely. There's nothing quite like a Finnish epic... :D

IraGoesWild: I'm not into them myself, as I've always been extremely picky about anything cartoony or animated, but I'm always open for new things. I appreciate comic books if they are interesting and different enough, and I absolutely love Apo-comics... :love:

Jojo, I hope your neck is better soon.

RT: My mom is in the kitchen cooking and I think something must have gotten on the burner because it smells like something is burning. It's not helping my already irritated sinuses (nor the headache I have popping up).

RT2: The weather people lied to me today. They said partly sunny, high of 61. Try mostly cloudy, some rain, high of 54! I was freezing most of the day. *grumbles*

RT: Hmm, I thought that although it was cooler the last two days, it was actually kind of refreshing... I'm European at heart, I guess... :D I enjoy sunny and in the 70s, but that's about as high as I prefer it to be most of the time, and I also love it when it's 40-60 degrees F. :thumbup:

RT 2: I should probably get started with MY paper and get it all out of the way so I can return my library materials... :whistling:

Darkest, I had a membership for the first year after my surgery but then my finances went downhill and I had to let it expire. I went to a local place the other night and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the annual cost. So I did a bit more research today and a friend told me about a gym she goes to that is only $10 a month. I googled it and found there is one not too far from me. So I'm gonna go check them out Saturday. I can afford $10 a month!

Sara: I hope the $10 gym works out. Sometimes the YMCA and YWCA can offer deals based on your finances. If it doesn't work out there are cheap exercise Apps you can get for your smart phone.

RT 1: I just realized that graduation is a month away. 8| Where does time go?

RT 2: My mom is pressuring me to apply to school in Georgia. ?( She wants me to go because it's a job training program (and I want to work for the state department). The problem is I want my PHD and the school doesn't set you up for a PHD program.

DarkestNight: If it doesn't have the right programs, then you definitely should not go to that one. Search around for some others, and there's still the chance that you'll hear back from the one in Canada.

@jojo: probably about 2 years or so ago. Maybe more, maybe less, I don't exactly know anymore. Ever since my daughter was born almost 2,5 years ago I kinda lacked time to do much online.
