I'm a little concerned because it isn't official yet, but since I bought my ticket from ticketmaster and the gigs are popping up on the venue websites, I think the dates are pretty stable...

It wwas announced by another member that there were dates in Chicago and Dallas at the end of April... Then I got info from the U.S. Apo myspace group that there is a show in Minneapolis, Cleveland and Boston comming up around the same time too. Looks like they will be here throught May only ( including the last week of April)

But again, it hasn't been "officially" announced yet...
Me: As you can tell, I really want to meet HIM. I don't know anything abouth this man. Ijust want to know what his voice sounds like...

Mikko: Oh well, he has a tiny voice and kinda sounds like this * imatates Antero's voice which sounded like Mickey Mouse*

Errrr... anybody know something more about the release data of the single or about the filming of the I Don't Care video?

Something like a making of, screenshots, pics, human remains... you know, something like that...

Ehh, yet again, the South gets the shaft. Not one date even remotely close to GA. Forget it, I give up on hoping to see them live. And if anybody thinks I don't have grounds to complain, here are some facts: Fact #1: Atlanta is the largest, most populous city in the South, and the 9th largest metropolitan area in the US. Fact #2 Apo has never, in the history of the band, had a show over here. NOT ONCE. I just don't know what has to happen for them to play over here...

I don't believe all the dates are released yet. They aren't playing in my state either, I am travelling to see them.

tmarkov1 - you have a right to complain about anything you want, but there are no "rules" for where a band will play. There are so many factors involved, you have no idea. The planning into a tour takes months; there are travelling needs, open (available) dates, proper venues for the anticipated ticket sales, appropriate audio/video equipment setups to check, etc. It doesn't always work the way we or they want it to. I don't see dates for LA yet either, but I would think that's a pretty important location for them as well. If the only way they picked locations was by size of the cities and population, a lot of people would be bereft. And your other "Fact" doesn't have much weight; they've only been here twice. The first time was just a handful of dates, and the second time was initially to see how well they would do in the US. If the facts were that Apo had been touring for years and years in the US all over and skipped Atlanta, then your complaint might have a little more merit.

Not all dates have been released yet, and that was stated in every post of the concert dates. So before you "give up," have a little patience and faith. I live in NY, and they are not coming to where I live. They have a concert in NYC, but it's 6 hours by car from me. The Canadian, PA, OH dates are all closer than NYC for me, but I'm not complaining. I'm glad they are looking forward to touring in the US; they could have just taken their enormous popularity in Europe and left it at that.

Maybe what "has to happen" is for you to just wait. Meantime, I'll hope for you that some more dates are added. I still think they may come back to the US before the end of the year as well, and I will continue to promote them like hell.

katariina - Sure planning a tour is no easy task, but I am certain that there are available venues with the proper equipment over here. Variety Playhouse, the Tabernacle, and various other smaller venues could be booked, if there ever was an incentive to do so. As for LA, they did tour California and the West Coast in 2005. When I say they haven't been to Atlanta, it's not just that. They have never been to ANY states in the South. No FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, AL, etc. The closest date announced so far is the New Orleans date, which is a 485 mile drive from here. I am thinking about going over there, but I won't be able to get many people to come with me if I have to drive that far.
I just hope that they show up for some more August dates that won't completely ignore the south. I'm sure I'm not alone in my frustration.

yeah... I REALLY thought they would do ATL, since they have an official/unofficial fan group there. I knew they weren't comming to Memphis... but who knows. They promised a much larger US tour, and I think the album will be successful enough to have them play more cities... I'm sure they will add more dates to the end of May. That time spot isn't filled up yet ;)

Oh come on you guys. WE HAVE US TOUR DATES!!!!! *cough*

Not only US tourdates but five weeks of dates! Isn't that what we've all be waiting for!? Just like Kat, the closest show to me is more than 8 hours and 500 miles away. If I hold my breath long enough for them to come closer, I could probably star in the next live action Smurf movie.

This is a major, major thing! And I for one am ecstatic to see this many tour dates. Both of their previous North American tours were not much more than a quick jaunt up one coast and down the other. This time around, they've added some stops in the middle of the country.

If you want to see Apo in different areas, start spreading the word! The more we fans start requesting to hear "I'm Not Jesus" (and "SOS" when it's released), the more the radio stations will play them. The more the radio stations start to play, the more the clubs will start to listen. The more the clubs start to listen, the more likely they are to ask management about a possible stop. And voila, before you know it - Apo's there. A couple of posts on a band website and even a couple of e-mails to management aren't going to do much. We peons have to start where we have the most power - by creating those little local splashes that will eventually become a tidal wave roaring in the audience of an Apo show!

In the meantime, do whatever it takes to get to just one show. You most certainly will not be disappointed!

OK this is weird. The Masquerade date isn't showing up on ticketmaster or on the Masquerade website. It's showing The Fall Of Troy and some other bands on May 9th...anybody have an idea what's going on? ?(

That's the best choice for next single.
